WHY VIRGIN WOOL? - Since it's never been used before, virgin wool is stronger and more durable than reclaimed wool. Forget scratchiness! Strands of virgin wool are longer, which means a softer, even more durable blanket. Other wool blankets (including other blankets from Arcturus) use reclaimed wool - wool that was once used as an article of clothing but then re-purposed into a sustainable, economical wool blanket. Recycled wool is a great choice but virgin wool is top-of-the-line.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS - Every Arcturus wool blanket is triple-washed during production so you can use it right away. However, at some point you'll probably want to wash it. To ensure this blanket lasts a lifetime, we only recommend dry cleaning. Please do not machine wash.
